ClearCorrect™ Basics
ClearCorrect™ is a series of clear and removable aligners designed to straighten teeth. 3D imaging technology guides tooth movement through each stage of treatment. You can see what your new smile will look like before treatment starts.
The aligners are custom-fitted for you, based on your specific orthodontic needs. You change aligners approximately every two weeks. Each set in the sequence achieves a certain range of tooth movement.
You’ll have regular visits during your orthodontic treatment to stay on track. Sometimes, you’ll wear a set of aligners for a longer or shorter timeframe. Keeping your appointments allows us to monitor your progress.
ClearCorrect™ Maintenance
One of the great things about ClearCorrect™ aligners is they’re removable. Take your aligners out when you eat, drink, or care for your teeth. This makes oral hygiene easy because you don’t have wires and brackets in your way.
- Brush and floss your teeth after meals to maintain good oral hygiene. Take the case for your aligners and a travel-size kit with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss with you when you go out.
- Rinse your aligners when you remove them. You can also wash them with clear antibacterial soap. Clean your aligners by soaking them in a denture cleaner or retainer cleaning solution at least two hours per day.
The success of your treatment depends on your compliance. Wear your aligners a minimum of 22 hours a day. Remember, only remove them to eat, drink, brush your teeth, or to clean your aligners. We base the length of treatment on your orthodontic needs.
