It’s Okay to Hesitate and Evaluate — But Don’t Get Stuck in Indecision!
As you know, at Country Club Dental, we stay up to date with the latest treatment options and techniques, and we constantly work to improve our technical skills. Sometimes, though, it is still difficult to move forward. Two of our patients who found themselves hesitant to go forward with dental implants were kind enough to share their stories with us recently. Now, I would like to share their stories with you.
Oscar and John Put Their Faith in Our Treatment
Oscar and John are two of our favorite patients — well, all our patients are favorites! They both had teeth missing and were thinking about available treatment options. (If you would like to see them tell their stories in their own words, click here.)
Oscar suggests that anyone hesitating to have implants done consult with me, as he did. I explained the process and answered all his questions so that he was able to overcome his hesitation and move forward with the implant treatment. Oscar had been struggling to chew foods, especially steak, and wasn’t able to enjoy a quality meal. However, he happily reports that after having the implants done, not only has eating (and chewing) become a pleasure, but he now has fun cooking again! For Oscar, everything got better once he had the implants.
John says since getting the implants he can chew a variety of tough-to-chew foods, something he couldn’t do before the procedure. He is enjoying his new freedom to choose what he eats without the same restrictions. He also appreciates that our expert staff was able to provide not only his exam and x-rays, but also the implants themselves and the final crown restorations to complete his smile.
Nothing Short of Life-Changing Results
We have seen and heard similar stories from many of our implant patients. Many didn’t anticipate the dramatic effect the dental implants would have on their quality of life. It is true — from providing more options for restorations to ease of care to a permanent solution that is most like their own teeth — the benefits implants provide are apparent every day. Many of our implant patients also express newfound self-confidence and even happiness after having implant treatment.
